Insight into the interdisciplinary research at TU Darmstadt
Interdisciplinary research has long been a central component of the work at TU Darmstadt. The FiF supports this diversity through flexible, agile structures and a variety of event formats (forums, lectures, conferences, workshops, "DenkRäume," and "Das Akademische Viertel"). It provides a platform for publicly presenting, discussing, and further developing research projects. As a central hub for innovative ideas, the FiF fosters exchange and networking across disciplinary boundaries, creating intellectual spaces that transcend traditional disciplinary perspectives.
The event formats often blend into one another, complement each other, and evolve thematically. Result-oriented summaries and thematic book publications capture and compile the outcomes from these diverse formats.
