The challenge:

Fashion research seeks to critically reflect on the relationship between fashion and globalisation, and in order to do so it must also examine the area of conflict between haute couture, art and commercialised fast fashion that dominates shopping streets worldwide. The difficulty is to find the right distance to the different, sometimes highly reflected trends in the fashion world.
