The challenge:

The introducing theses stimulate the discussion – they deal with concepts of education and that what the university can and should do: Bologna has led to a catastrophic development of academic institutions, which would have dismayed Humboldt. Necessary open spaces, essential for the personality formation of students, will be lost. The Bologna Process is part of a development that in the end reduces the university's ability to deal seriously with difficult and burning issues.
