Project description:

The system function (mass flow, dynamics, chemical reaction, heat release, …), the effort (energy consumption, costs, …) and the availability (wear, …) determine the topology of the system, the geometric design of individual components and their control. According to this, the target functional is formed by function, effort and availability. Methods of discrete mathematics in connection with mathematical-scientific descriptions of the components provide the foundation for optimization.
