Today, creativity is discussed in all possible contexts. What exactly characterises it and how it manifests itself is, however, a matter that needs to be clarified – both with regard to necessary structural contexts, i.e. the conditions of the possibility of creativity, and also to the “logic” and structure of creative practices. It seems quite obvious that creative processes do not start in nowhere.

They rather presume something (whatever this may be), which they transform, reform or revolutionise – although these processes themselves cannot be reduced to a knowledge that can be regulated, learned and reproduced.

So creativity depends on vagueness. It refers to inconclusive possibilities. The essays in this publication discuss the topic from various disciplinary perspectives.
