Award for Sustainability and Interdisciplinarity 2023

Die Vereinigung von Freunden der Technischen Universität zu Darmstadt e.V. supports TU Darmstadt on its way to a future-oriented university. This includes attributes such as high-quality research and education, excellent research, international networking, a sense of social responsibility, sustainability, being open to diversity, equal opportunities, mediation and interaction functions. In particular, the association promotes activities that result in change, networking and information gaining in the direction of this funding profile and increase the visibility of TU Darmstadt.

In the context of these measures Freunde der TU Darmstadt (opens in new tab) are awarding prizes with a total value of 10.000 euros in cooperation and with the support of Forum Interdisziplinäre Forschung (FiF) expertise and the Büro für Nachhaltigkeit der TU Darmstadt. We are looking for projects combining the focal points of sustainability and interdisciplinarity which were completed in the years 2021 and 2022. Scientific quality and creativity are also required, as well as appropriate efficiency.
