FiF Forum 2022: Building against the climate crisis?

This statement made by Georg Christoph Lichtenberg could also be related to the topic of the FiF Forum on the subject „Building with Wood“ on 14 June 2022 in the Lichtenberg-Haus.
Wood as a building material is currently enjoying a renaissance, with good reason. It represents a climate and environmentally friendly alternative to concrete and steel construction. Do we therefore not only have to expect an energy, transport and mobility revolution, but also a building revolution? The latter is, of course, hardly mentioned (yet) in public debates, including political debates. The FiF Forum is an opportunity to think about this and discuss it with experts from TU Darmstadt.
The interdisciplinary perspectives of this topic will be discussed from Felix Waechter in an exchange with colleagues Ulrich Knaack, Markus Lederer, Stefan Schäfer and Karsten Tichelmann.
