Physicist Prof. Dr. Thomas Walther has served as Director of the FiF since April 2020. The fact that he agreed to continue fulfilling this role — despite the demands of his position as Vice President of TU Darmstadt (since 2023)—is something the FiF can only regard as a distinct honor.
